In all the years that I’ve done sessions at other studios there were times when I would think to myself, boy that 23” ride with rivets would have killed on the last hit on that tune. It was impossible for me to bring the hundreds of instruments I own into someone else’s studio. So in 2007 I decided to build my own space. The Burbank Drum Studio is a fully professional Protools studio. Now I have all my instruments at my fingertips.
